PURPOSE:To provide the light emission type signal plate capable of enhancing the visibility to automobile and motor bicycle drivers, bicycle riders or pedestrians. CONSTITUTION:This light emission type signal plate 1 includes surface luminous bodies 9A, 9B which are disposed on a substrate surface formed to shapes of signal characters, light emitting diodes 10 for flickering light emission which are disposed along the marginal part of the substrate surface, a proximity sensor 5 which detects the approach of the vehicle, etc., to a prescribed distance, a sunset sensor 6 which detects a sunset state, a solar battery 4 which is charged by receiving the sunlight and a control section 15 which triggers the light emitting diodes 10 to emit flickering light when the sunset sensor 6 detects the sunset state and triggers the surface light emitting bodies 9a, 9B when the proximity sensor 5 detects the vehicle, etc. |
