PURPOSE:To provide a multilingual machine translating device which analyzes an aspect meaning on the basis of a verb aspect classification, a 'state', an 'interpretation', and a 'cooccurrence element'. CONSTITUTION:An aspect processing part 400 extracts the verb aspect classification and an aspect symbol from an analytic tree analyzed by a conversion part 300 and takes a possible aspect meaning out by referring to a source language aspect symbol dictionary part 450. Then other morphemes and parts of speech are extracted from the analytic tree and aspect meaning restriction conditions are taken out by referring to a source language other-morpheme aspect dictionary part 45 1. Then an identifying part erases impossible aspect meanings. The aspect meaning of an object language is taken out of possible meanings by referring to an aspect meaning conversion dictionary part 452. On the basis of the verb aspect classification and aspect meaning of the object language, an object language aspect symbol and a cooccurrence element are taken out by referring to an object language aspect symbol dictionary part 453. Then an object language generation part 500 generates the object language. |
