MICROPROCESSOR FOR EMULATION AND EMULATOR

PURPOSE:To cope with development of various kinds of products by absorbing the differences in the number of pins and pin arrangement between target microprocessors by transmission line switching. CONSTITUTION:The differences in the number of pins and pin arrangement between plural kinds of target microprocessors related to development of kinds of products like products A and B are absorbed by signal transmission line switching so that a common microprocessor for emulation can be used for emulation of the target microprocessor whichever product out of products A and B is used as the target microprocessor. That is, a port control part 110 is provided which controls plural port parts 111 to 118 based on the address signal inputted from a CPU(central processing unit) in the microprocessor 31 for emulation. As far as ports related to control are concerned, they are used as pins 90 to 97 at the time of allowing the same terminal to correspond to the product A and are used as pins P40 to P47 at the time of allowing it to correspond to the product B.
