<p>PURPOSE:To obtain excellent performances as a positive or negative electrophotographic toner resin showing good fixing property, good pulverizing property, hot offset resistance, storage property, and positive or negative electrification property. CONSTITUTION:The resin essentially consists of amorphous polyalpha- hydroxycarboxylic acid obtd. by direct dehydration condensation polymn. of alpha-hydroxycarboxylic acid. Or the resin essentially consists of decomposable polyester resin obtd. by the reaction of amorphous or semicrystalline poly alpha- hydroxycarboxylic acid obtd. by direct dehydration polymn. condensation of alpha-hydroxycarboxylic acid with polyol having three or more hydroxyl groups in one molecule or polycarboxylic acid having three or more carboxyl groups in one molecule. Or, the resin essentially consists of decomposable polyester resin which is urethane polyester obtd. by the reaction of diisocyanate and polyester comprising polyol and amorphous or semicrystalline poly alpha- hydroxycarboxylic acid.</p> |
