摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a large shock when respective speed change stages are selected directly from an N-range in order to start in a manual speed change mode. CONSTITUTION:The control device 31 is provided with an engaging pressure control means 75 for controlling engaging pressure for engaging frictional engagement elements ; an engagement start detecting means 76 for detecting start of engagement of the frictional engagement elements; an engaging pressure boosting means 77 for boosting the engaging pressure until the start of engagement of the frictional engagement elements is detected by the engagement start detecting means 76; and an engaging pressure boosting prohibiting means 78 for prohibiting boosting of the engagement pressure in the case where a car speed detected by a car speed sensor 72 is not higher than a set value. When speed change output is outputted, the engaging pressure boosting means 77 boosts the engaging pressure until the engagement start of the frictional engagement elements is detected, while boosting of the engagement pressure is prohibited in the case of the car speed being not higher than the set value.
