The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing at least one machined part of a wooden panel. Each part (1, 2, 3, 4) is machined to form mouldings (21, 22), plain mouldings, or grooves or sculptures etc. It consists in attaching, for each machined part, a piece of wood of the same type as the wood for veneering the said panel and in machining the said attached piece. According to one characteristic, each attached piece (20, 20a, 20b, 40a, 40b) is formed by assembling a plurality of superimposed layers (23) built up using a thin veneer sheet of wood of the same type as that of the wood (11) with which the said panel is veneered. The invention also applies to a wooden panel including at least one such machined part. <IMAGE>
