The invention relates to a tensile force measuring device for the measurement of tensile forces of running endless materials, in particular threads or webs. This tensile force measuring device is seated on a mandrel which is clamped in a fixed position and has a clamping portion and a bearing portion which can move freely in the force direction with respect to the mandrel. The clamping portion and bearing portion are connected to each other by means of bending springs.
