The moisture seal desired in ground gullies and floor gullies with vertically adjustable attachment piece is achieved by a collar which projects upwards from the gully housing and by a sealing ring which clamps around said collar with the neck of the attachment piece. In this arrangement, neck and collar may be of the same diameter and connected in a sealing manner by a clamp which engages over their two ends. If the neck of the attachment piece engages into the collar, the seal is in the form of a clamping ring with double-conical profile, which is fitted over a cone flange on the collar (Figure 3). <IMAGE>
