PURPOSE:To obtain a reluctance motor, a brushless motor and a stepping motor which have a high speed, a high torque and excellent efficiency. CONSTITUTION:At the time when electrification of one armature coil 32a is stopped through the intermediary of one switching element on the negative voltage side, magnetic energy is made to flow in a capacitor 46a of a small capacity, charged and held therein at a high voltage, and thereby a current is made to fall quickly and then made to rise quickly at the time of electrification of the next armature coil 32b. However, the rise of the electrification of the armature coil 32 is insufficient due to a copper loss and an iron loss of the armature coil, only with the static energy charged in a capacitor 46b. To cope with this, a chopper circuit is provided as an attachment. Thereby the magnetic energy of the armature coil is made to flow by a small quantity in the capacitor of the small capacity, accumulated and held therein so that the armature current may rise at a higher speed. |
