PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic flaw detector with a marking function which simplifies equipment, reduces the time and labor for maintenance and checking of functions and moreover eliminates the possibility of false marking. CONSTITUTION:A marking gun 16 is fitted to a vertically moving part 8 of the main body 1 of a flaw detecting mechanism and an operation for aligning the centers of the main body 1 of the flaw detecting mechanism and the marking gun 16 with that of a material 7 to be inspected and a line-off operation are conducted simultaneously. Besides, the gun 16 is disposed so that the position of marking on the material 7 to be inspected is off a point of contact with rolls for conveyance. Moreover, it is made possible to fit a jig 17 for a test instead of the material 7 to be inspected. |
