PURPOSE:To provide a dummy lens which can get stereoscopic feeling and one-body feeling without providing irregularity at a base material. CONSTITUTION:A step pattern, which is seen as a fisheye step, is made, to give one-body feeling with a lens, at a dummy lens. The step pattern is made of the coating layer 28 applied on the surface on the rear side of the transparent base material of a planar dummy lens. The coating layer 28 has a coating forming material 30 constituted of synthetic resin or the like and magnetic pigments 32 dispersed in this coating forming material 30. The step pattern 24 is made at the coating layer 28 by varying the density distribution of the magnetic pigments 32, and the coating 28 is provided with a part 34 high in the magnetic pigments 32, which forms a lattice-shaped line, and a density dwindling part 36, which lies in the interior region surrounded by this high density part 34 and in which the density of the magnetic pigments 32 dwindles gradually according as it separates from the high density part 34, and the magnetic pigments 32 hardly exists at the center. |
