The invention relates to a housing closure, having a dynamic sealing washer, arranged in an opening, for sealing a shaft gland, its essence being defined by the following features: - The tachometer generator, the transmitter wheel and the dynamic sealing washer lie approximately in the same plane and form a structural unit with the housing closure cover. - An additional rib, which is preferably conically formed, is fastened on or pressed in for the purpose of fixing the location of the tachometer generator and of protecting the latter and the transmitter wheel. - The transmitter wheel is pressed onto the crankshaft and simultaneously forms the contact surface for the dynamic sealing washer and the static seal with respect to the crankshaft. Further features are, inter alia, that the transmitter wheel is of a U-shaped construction in which the U-open side points in the Z-direction according to Fig. 2, and the outer U limb is provided with segmented areas. One area is of wider design for the purpose of determining TDC. Moreover, the transmitter wheel is provided with a dirt-repelling radius. <IMAGE>
