PURPOSE:To enable a magnetizing head to be easily lessened in yoke size and enhanced in magnetizing capacity by a method wherein the wire of a coil is formed of silver or preferably pure silver. CONSTITUTION:A magnetizing head is composed of a yoke 1 possessed of magnetizing poles 3,...3 correspondent to a magnetizing shape and a magnetizing coil 2 of silver wire wound on the magnetizing poles 3,...3 of the yoke 1. A magnetizing coil 2 of a single conductor is wound on the magnetizing poles 3,...3 taking advantage of longitudinal grooves 4 cut between the poles 3,...3. Moreover, the magnetizing coil 2 is formed of silver or silver of over 99. 99% purity much softer than conventional copper. An insulating film 6 is formed on the surfaces of the longitudinal grooves 4,...4 and the lateral grooves 5,...5 of the yoke 1 so as to insulate the yoke 1 from the magnetizing coil 2. The insulating film 6 is formed, at least, on the surface of the yoke 1 where the magnetizing coil 2 comes into contact. A Teflon coat or a ceramic coat are suitable for the insulating film 6. |
