<p>PURPOSE:To true decrease the residual concn. of an org. solvent and to obtain the resin compsn. for toners having excellent blocking resistance by kneading a high-mol.wt. polymer component and a low-mol.wt. polymer component by using a kneading extruder. CONSTITUTION:A mixture composed of the high-mol.wt. polymer component and low-mol.wt. polymer component supplied to a raw material supplying section 6 corresponding to a first raw material supplying section is melted by heating by a barrel heater and shearing by rotation of a screw 9. The molten resin of the low-mol.wt. polymer component is supplied to the resin melted in such a manner from a raw material supplying section 3 which is installed on the downstream side of the raw material supplying section 6 and corresponds to a second raw material supplying section. These resins are then kneaded by the kneading effect of the kneading extruder 8. Further, the molten resin of the low-mol.wt. polymer component is supplied from the raw material supplying section 4 corresponding to the second raw material supplying section as well and is uniformly mixed and dispersed in the kneading extruder 8. The mixture is thereafter soldified by cooling to be made to pulverizable shapes, by which the desired resin is-obtd.</p> |
