<p>PURPOSE:To provide the pulverizing device for glass fiber scrap with which a pulverization treatment is efficiently executed without generative pollution by waste combustion gases and without generating contamination with impurities which is the cause for fiber breakage at the time of spinning of glass fibers. CONSTITUTION:This pulverizing device has a heater 10 which burns away the org. bundling materials, etc., sticking to the glass fiber scrap and to embrittle these materials to an easily pulverizable form by heating the glass fiber scrap and a pulverizing device which pulverizes the embrittled glass fiber scrap. A continuous furnace is used as the heater and a wire meshed belt 19 made of metal without contg. nickel is used as a conveyor to be installed in this furnace. A secondary combustion device 20 to cause the perfect combustion of the combustible gases of the bundling materials, etc., is preferably installed and the waste heat thereof is used as a heating source for the furnace. Further, a metal removing device for easily removing the metal included in the glass fiber scrap and a chopping device for previously chopping the glass fiber scrap to be supplied to the heater are preferably installed.</p> |
