PURPOSE:To allow a machining program for each work machine to be conveniently made up with a common coordinate system and a machining position of each work machine to be set without the need for teaching. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam nozzle 25 is located at a predefined coordinate position and laser beam is emitted from the laser beam nozzle 25 in a static condition to a vertical or horizontal direction. The machining heads of other work machines 5, 7 are moved toward the coordinate axis to search the laser beam with light receiving elements 51, 53 provided on the machining heads. From a relation ship between the position coordinate values of the machining heads of other work machines 5, 7 after detecting the laser beam and the position coordinate value at the predefined coordinate position of the laser work machine 3, the original point of the laser work machine 3 is set in common with the original point of other work machines 5, 7. |
