CONSTITUTION: In the rotor of a high-speed electrical machine that is excited by a permanent magnet, permanent magnets 2 and a filling piece 3 made of non-magnetic material located between the permanent magnets are provided on the peripheral surface of one portion of a rotor shaft. The permanent magnet 2 and the filling piece 3 are extended in the axial line direction of the rotor shaft and is covered with a bandage 4 made of a high-strength material that receives a load in advance on the peripheral surface.
