<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sulfur-contg. aq. soln. which is effective for a waste liquid treatment from sulfur-contg. slag discharged in iron and steel smelting stages. CONSTITUTION:This aq. soln. is extracted at the time of aging the sulfur-contg. slag contg. sulfur as the calcium compd. discharged in the iron and steel smelting stages by under water immersing, water spraying, etc., and is adjusted to 100 to 2000mg/l total S concn. and thiosulfuric acid ion concn.: (0.90 to 1.75)Xtotal S concn. The aq. soln. is used as a reducing agent and/or neutralizing agent for liquid contg. oxidative ions. The cost necessary for the waste liquid treatment is reduced and the aging of the slag itself is accelerated when the sulfur-containing aqueous solution is used as the reducing agent and/or neutralizing agent with respect to the liquid contg. oxidative ion such as chromic acid ion.</p> |
