<p>PURPOSE:To provide an aluminum can resistant to the crushing, deformation or damage in the packaging and transportation, by pressurizing the content with nitrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:Boiled fish, meat, vegetable, etc. with or without seasoning, non- carbonated liquor such as ''sake'', or non-carbonated drink such as fruit juice, etc., is canned with a can made of thin-walled aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The can is pressurezed with nitrogen gas to give an internal pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure by 0.3-0.7 atm, to attain the sufficient resistance to the sterilization and external forces applied during transportation and handling. The pressurized can is sealed and sterilized by heating.</p> |
