The invention relates to a so-called stripper-crimper in the case of which, in contrast to conventional methods, the cables are fixed and both the stripping devices and the crimping devices are moved up to the cables. However, such a stripper-crimper is suitable only for fitting one crimping contact in each case to one cable. If it is desired to connect two or more cables jointly using one crimped contact, then each cable must initially be stripped before the crimping process can take place.
