<p>PURPOSE:To effectively purify water over a wide range and to activate the water by spraying liquid chemicals prepd. by mixing solid treating agents, such as flocculating agents and algaecidal agents, into water onto a water surface by injecting means, thereby settling the fine solids in the water and killing algae. CONSTITUTION:This method for purifying the water of lakes, swamps, ponds, rivers, etc., comprises housing the liquid chemicals prepd. by mixing the solid treating agents, such as flocculating agents and algaecidal agents, from a solid treating agent tank 7 into the water from a water tank 5 in a mixing tank 8 and spraying the liquid chemicals onto the water surface 1A from a fountain pipe 12 by an injection pump 11, thereby settling the fine solids in the water and killing the algae. Consequently, the uniform and efficient spraying of the solid treating agents over an extremely wide range is realized. The solids suspended not only on the water surface but under the water as well are effectively consolidated and settled. The suspended algae are also killed and settled. The range of the liquid chemical spraying is widened by the water injected from the fountain pipe, by which an aeration effect is enhanced.</p> |
