PURPOSE:To uniformize the recovery of emitting capacity by connecting a plurality of elastic caps to one negative pressure absorbing means and providing ink absorbing members so as to close the ink discharge ports of the respective elastic caps and ensuring spaces absorbing the fluctuation parts of negative suction force accompanied by the elastic deformation of the elastic caps. CONSTITUTION:The ink emitting orifices 4 of a plurality of elastic caps 3 and one negative pressure absorbing and recovering means 8 are connected by a communication member 7. The space volumes absorbing the fluctuation parts of negative pressure suction force acting on the surfaces of the nozzles 2 of an ink jet head 1 accompanied by the elastic deformation of the elastic caps 3 are ensured in the elastic caps 3 and at least the ink discharge ports of the elastic caps 3 are closed by ink absorbing members 5. As a result, the recovery function of the ink emitting capacities to the respective ink jet heads 1 can be uniformized and the waste ink recovery efficiency of the waste ink recovery systems to the ink jet heads is enhanced. |
