PURPOSE:To improve the ignition reliability of a piezoelectric ignition plug, by providing a generator made by layering unit cells with lithium negative electrodes and heating agents, and sealing the inside of a battery by making in a carbonic acid gas atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ignition plug 7 consists of an ignition terminal 5 and an ignition agent 6, and a high voltage output from a piezoelectric element 4 by a shock and the like is spark-discharged at the tip of the terminal 5. The ignition agent 6 is ignited by the spark generated at that time, heating agents 2 are burnt through an ignition chute 8, and the battery is activated. This battery has a generator made by laminating raw cells 1 having lithium negative electrodes, and the heating agents 2; and a piezoelectric ignition plug 3 to ignite the heating agents 2. The battery is housed in a pressure reduction box, the dry air is removed, a carbonic acid gas is filled to make the inside of the battery in a carbonic acid atmosphere and then the inside is restored to a normal pressure. Then, by sealing again with a solder, the reaction of the negative electrode with the lithium with the passage of time does not proceed, and thereby, the deterioration of the ignition property is eliminated, so as to improve the ignition reliability of the ignition plug 3. |
