<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a belt portion from dangling in a suspension shape by the tare weight, generate little or rare belt tension fluctuation when vibration is applied to a belt, stabilize the contact between the belt and an image carrier, and transfer a developer image with no mottles. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with an endless belt 21, a roller 26 arranged inside the belt 21, and an image carrier l arranged outside the belt 21 to face the roller 26. A developer image held on the image carrier l is transferred to the belt 21 or a sheet held on the belt 21 at the transfer position 42 where the roller 26 and the image carrier 1 face each other. The roller 26 and the image carrier 1 are arranged to face nearly horizontally, and a belt portion 21a' fed to the transfer position 42 and a belt portion 21a'' delivered from the transfer position 42 are held nearly vertically.</p> |
