PURPOSE:To use a small capacity ROM for storing phase data. CONSTITUTION:This method and device is provided with a ROM 28 storing phase data for one quadrant, that a phase shift modulating signal can take on a signal phase flat face, A/D converters 21 and 22 quadrature detecting a reception signal and respectively converting the base band signals of I and Q components digital data, absolute value circuits 23 and 24 converting digital data obtained by the A/D converters 21 and 22 to respective pieces of data composed of a positive/negative signal and the absolute value, a comparing circuit 26 and a dividing circuit 27 as a means reading phase data stored in the ROM 28 based on the two pieces of absolute value data obtained by the absolute value circuits 23 and 24, and a delay detection circuit 29 detecting phase difference between respective symbols based on phase data read from the ROM 28 by the reading means and the judgement result of a quadrant judgement circuit 25. |
