<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paint coating apparatus for an electrode which can simply and effectively coat both side long edges of a rectangular board with thick electrode paint. CONSTITUTION:A coating rotor 17 is intermittently rotated, and silver paint 6 in a paint reservoir 12 is held in a coating unit 18. A plurality of sets of coating controllers 24 are provided on an intermittently rotated disk 23. The controllers 24 intermittently rotates a pair of air chucks 33 for holding both short side edges of the board 5 by driving a pulse motor 40, and moves them to the rotor 17 side and a separate side by extending and contracting an air cylinder 42. The intermittent rotation and movement of the chucks 33 which hold the board 5 are conducted in combination, the long side edges of the board 5 are inserted to silver paint 6 of the unit 18, then removed from it to coat the long side edges with the paint 6.</p> |
