<p>PURPOSE:To enable recycling of fine toner powder without impairing a working environment even if the amt. of the fine toner powder is large and to prevent the degradation in toner productivity by granulating the fine toner powder generated in the process of toner production, then recycling the fine toner powder to the toner production stage. CONSTITUTION:The fine toner powder generatged in the process of the production is granulated and is then recycled to the toner production stages. At least, the fine toner powder is required to be compression-granulated alone or in the compresence of other raw materials. The entire amt. of the fine toner powder can be recycled into the raw material. The degree of granulation of the fine toner powder signifies the bulk density ratio after the granulation to before the granulation and is preferably >=1.1 times. The resulted toner is used as a one-component type developer (magnetic one-component toner, such as magnetite, or magnetic one-component toner without contg. magnetic materials) and a two-component developmer formed by mixing the toner with magnetic carriers, such as iron powder and ferrite.</p> |
