PURPOSE:To obtain a cable body having breakage load strength equivalent to that of parallel wire cable and capable of readily winding to a winder by applying large twist to a cable obtained by uniformly and parallel arranging a number of wires according to a specific method and winding a resin tape onto the periphery. CONSTITUTION:The aimed cable body constituted by restricting circumferential face on one side and other side of cable uniformly and parallel arranging a number of wires and then rotating these one end side and both end sides in relatively reverse direction to apply twist of large pitch to the whole cable and winding and applying a resin tape on the outer layer thereof. The cable body is obtained e.g. by inserting a cable 2 into collecting plates 3 to 5 to restrict the circumference thereof and then traveling the cable 2 while rotating these collecting plate at a low speed without rotating in case of the collecting plate 3 and in ratio of 1/2 revolution in case of the collecting plate 4 and in ratio of 1 revolution in case of the collecting plate 5 to apply twist to the cable 2 and then winding a resin tape with a tape winder 6. |
