PURPOSE:To obtain the title motor wherein it is small-sized and lightweight and it can give a thrust in a desired amount in a desired direction by a method wherein the deformation amount of a member on the primary side is brought into contact with a sliding and moving element on the secondary side via a driving element, a frictional force is made to act and the thrust in the desired amount in the desired direction is given. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic motor, piezoelectric elements 2 are arranged on the primary side in symmetric positions on both faces of a conductive plate 1, a member on the primary side is deformed when an electric current is applied, and the deformation amount of the member on the primary side is brought into contact with a siliding and moving element 6 on the secondary side via a driving element 7. A frlctional force is made to act on the siliding and moving element 6 on the secondary side by the driving element 7, and a thrust in a desired amount in a desired direction is given to the siliding and moving element 6 on the secondary side. As a result, the ultrasonic motor which can give the thrust in the desired amount in the desired direction to the siliding anal moving element on the secondary side can be obtained although it is small-sized and lightweight. |
