<p>PURPOSE:To exactly move a cursor at one edge on a computer screen by continuously imparting the previous output value of the operating direction to the computer when the moving operation of an operating pointer reaches a prescribed operation limit. CONSTITUTION:A digitizer 21 being the operating device is constituted of a tablet 22 and a coordinate indicator 23 being the operating pointer. When the coordinate indicator 23 is moved on an operating face 22a of the tablet 22, absolute coordinate position data are applied to a computer 25, and a cursor 26 displayed on a display screen 25a is moved. When the moving operation of the coordinate indicator 23 goes outside from one edge of the valid area of the operating face 22a of the table 22, and reaches the operation limit, an output continuing means 27 incorporated in the tablet 22 continuously outputs the previous output value of the moving direction of the coordinate indicator 23, and applies it to the computer 25. Therefore, the cursor 26 can be exactly moved even when the computer 25 is busy with the other processing or the like.</p> |
