PURPOSE:To enhance the strength and reliability of a connecting position, when an outer lead terminal provided on the side of a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) or a base film of tape carrier (TAB) type is connected by soldering to a wiring electrode (board electrode) provided on a circuit board, reduce the frequency of flux application, and make the electrode pitch of the board electrode minute. CONSTITUTION:An outer lead terminal has an outer lead part 2 having a substantially rectangular section provided protrudingly on the side of a base film 1. The upper surface 2a and lower surface 2b of the outer lead part 2 are parallel to a base material surface 1. A through-hole 7 is provided in the outer lead part 2 substantially vertically to the upper surface 2a and lower surface 2b. |
