PURPOSE:To connect a converter to a receiver via only a transmission line of a single system by providing a frequency converter for vertical and horizontal polarized waves and a VH output terminal and connecting this output terminal to the frequency converter via an independent switch means. CONSTITUTION:A converter 10 is provided with the vertical and horizontal frequency converting circuits 16V and 16H which receive the satellite signals of vertical and horizontal polarized waves through an antenna and perform the conversion of frequency, the switch means 21a and 21b which the switching operations in response to the switch signals, and the VH terminals 14a and 14b. The means 21a is connected between both circuits 16V/16H and the terminal 14a and also a switch signal input terminal is connected to the terminal 14a. Therefore the means 21a works in response to the switch signal applied to the terminal 14a for selection of a vertical or horizontal polarized wave. Then the signal received from the frequency converter of the relevant polarized wave emerges at the relevant output terminal. The means 21b is also connected and works in the same way as the means 21a.
