PURPOSE:To automatically select the system constitution for showing the highest performance by selecting an optimal rasterizer, a style-of-handwriting vector data device, and a font cache capacity. CONSTITUTION:The use memory quantity of a selected rasterizer is obtained from a rasterizer information table 51, and its value is added to the memory use quantity in a memory information table 53 in a management area 205. Thereafter, from the present memory use quantity, a cache optimal value is calculated again. In such a way, when an optimal rasterizer is determined, the device of the highest access speed is selected from in a style of handwriting which appears first, contained in a style-of-handwriting vector data information table 52 stored in the management area 205. Also, whether the selected device is the same one as the previous time or not is judged, and when it is the same as the previous time, whether an undetermined style of handwriting still remains in the style-of-handwriting vector data information table 52 or not is judged, and the processing is executed to the next style of handwriting. |
