<p>PURPOSE:To increase attraction between a transfer material and toner, to prevent an offset phenomenon and erroneous printing by imparting the potential of a polarity reverse to that of the toner to a surface opposite to the toner sticking surface of the transfer material on a part where a carrying guide plate is installed, on a fixing roll entrance. CONSTITUTION:The transfer material 8 separated from a carrying belt 13 comes into contact with the carrying guide plate 19 installed on the entrance of a fixing unit 10 and is led to the fixing unit 10 while being rubbed. At this time, the contact surface of the transfer material 8 with the carrying guide plate 19 and a fluororesin layer 19a on the carrying guide plate 19 are charged by the friction. In the friction with the transfer material 8, a negative charge is generated on the fluororesin layer 19a being a negative electrifying system. On the contrary, the contact surface of the transfer material 8 with the carrying guide plate 19 is supplied with a positive charge. The electrostatic attraction of the toner 24 of the transfer material 8 is increased by the positive charge newly imparted to the surface opposite to the sticking surface of the toner 24 on the transfer material 8, with respect to the charge toner 24. Thus, on the press-contact part of the heating roller 10a of the fixing unit 10 with a pressure roll 10 fixing is performed while the separation of the toner 24 from the transfer maternal is suppressed.</p> |
