<p>An improved skate assembly (10) which permits interchanging and reversing of ice blades (40) and in-line rollers (63-67). The arrangement provides for such interchange through utilization of a pair of rotatable cams (24) which are utilized to couple the blade support to the toe and/or heel of the boot. Also, an interlocking notch/projection (21) may be employed to achieve secure mounting of the blade support subassembly to the boot. Also disclosed is an attachment mechanism which can be used by the hands, and which requires no external tooling.</p> |
