In order to ensure in the case of a unit of this type simple handling of the drawer as it is pushed in and pulled out, with simultaneous unlocking of the drawer, the invention proposes that the devices on both sides for releasing and engaging the locking means are rigidly connected to one another via a frontal connecting element (25) arranged on the outside of the drawer.
