PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material having remarkably improved head matching properties, a superior recording image shelf stability, and a little background fog. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material provided with a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a color developer on a substrate, bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) sulfone is used as the color developer, and an emulsion (average particle diameter of 0.5mum or less) of an amide stearate is used as a sensitizer. |
