PURPOSE:To provide an FeBR type permanent magnet material capable of reducing the temp. coefficient of residual magnetic flux density Br practically to zero and excellent in temp. characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This material is a permanent magnet material satisfying, when R (rare earth elements) represents the sum of R1 and R2 (where R1 means Dy and R2 consists of >=80%, in total, of Nd and/or Pr and the balance at least one kind among other rare earth elements including Y, other than Dy, Tb, Ho, Nd, and Pr), 0.4<=R2/R1 <=1.5 (where R1>5%) by atomic ratio, consisting of, by atomic percentage, 12.5-20% R, 4-20% B, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, containing (R1, R2) Fe14 B compound as principal phase, and having <=0.08%/ deg.C absolite value of temp. coefficient of Br. Further, additive elements, such as Mo, Nb, Al, and V, can be incorporated. |
