PURPOSE:To obtain a tasty processed object, and shorten the processing time by processing grain in a drum which is provided freely rotatably/stoppably, by performing a pretreatment work such as soaking, etc., soaking processing work by a very hot water, and steaming work, in this order. CONSTITUTION:Water is jetted in a drum 5 from a guide pipe 7 by a pump 54 through a water/hot water guide pipe 54, solenoid valve 55, etc., and the drum 55 rotates and perform a rice washing work. Then, a primary soaking work is performed. Then, a lid 2 of the drum 5 is moved to the lowermost position by a geared motor 19, and the water is discharged from small holes on the lid 2. Then, hot water in a water/hot water tank 38 is jetted in the drum 5 from the guide pipe 7 by the pump 54 in the same manner, and the drum 5 is turned such as a cradle by the geared motor 19, and the water absorption and gelatinization of starch of the rice in a secondary soaking work are promoted. Then, in the same manner, a second secondary soaking work is performed, and the water is drained. Then, a steam at approx. 100 deg.C heats the rice and performs a steaming/boiling work, and then, the feeding of the steam is stopped and a steaming work is performed by letting the rice stand for a few minutes. |
