<p>PURPOSE:To carry out favorable conveying of paper by changing a size of a loop formed in paper relating to the case that the loop is formed in the paper to perform aligning action in a point end part and relating to the case that the paper is fed out toward and image transfer part. CONSTITUTION:In a paper aligning device 10 arranged in a just before part of an image transfer part in an electrophotographic copying machine, a registration roller unit 11 and a preregistration roller unit 12 are arranged through a specific space, to provide an opening part 17 between upper guide plates 16, 16a. In the case of forming a loop in paper in a condition that its point end part rushes into a nip part of the registration roller unit 11, a small loop PR1 is formed to perform action of aligning the point end part of the paper. In the case of feeding out the paper by driving the registration roller unit 11, a large loop PR2 is formed to perform paper feed action so that the paper is prevented from being placed in a skew feed condition due to stress at the time of aligning the paper.</p> |
