PURPOSE:To integrally mold a resin frame member without generating a crack or damage in a plate-shaped member such as a glass plate, in integrally molding the resin frame member by injecting a resin in the cavity formed by the periph eral edge part of the plate-shaped member and a pair of molds holding the peripheral edge part of the plate-shaped member therebetween, by covering the contact surfaces of the molds with the plate-shaped member with a fluoroplastic layer. CONSTITUTION:The contact surfaces of a movable mold 3 and a fixed mold 4 holding a plate-shaped member 1 therebetween with the plate-shaped member 1 are covered with fluoroplastic layers 5 and the plate-shaped member 1 is held between the molds through the fluoroplastic layers 5. For example, fluoroplastic to be used is pref. selected from a tetrafluoroethylene resin, a perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, a tetrafluoroethylene/ ethylene copolymer, a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer, a vinylidene fluoride resin, perfluoroalkyl acrylate and a mixture of two or more kinds of derivatives of those resins. |
