<p>In order to minimize intrusion of foreign mailer into the space between the wheel hub (42) of the rear wheel (WR) and the gear cover (29), in a motorcycle in which a V-belt type continuously variable transmission (32) is accommodated in a transmission case (26), a wheel hub (42) of a rear wheel is arranged in close proximity to a gear cover (29) and has an inner tube portion (42a) through which an axle (40) of the rear wheel (WR) is inserted, and an outer tube portion (42b) that coaxially surrounds the inner tube portion (42a) while defining between the outer tube portion (42b) and the inner tube portion (42a) an annular recess that opens to the gear cover (29) side, and a protector (83), which covers a top portion of the gear cover (29) and is mounted to at least one of a transmission case (26) and the gear cover (29), is integrally provided with an extended portion (83p) that extends to the wheel hub (42) side so as to be in close proximity to the outer tube portion (42b).</p> |
