PURPOSE:To provide a two-way differential clutch in which a sprag can be fitted in a decided direction so as to prevent erroneous assembly. CONSTITUTION:The width measure (t1) of the inside end part of a sprag 7 is formed to be larger than the width measure (t2) of the outside end part (t1>t2), and to be larger than the width measure (t4) of a pocket 9 of an outside retainer 6 (t1>t4). When the inside end part of the sprag 7 would be inserted into the pocket 9 of the outside retainer 6, it can not be inserted by interference of both, and hence erroneous assembly can be prevented.
