PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for operating temporary succession without disturbing the state of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION: In a step 400, a host transmits interruption to a host processor, and the processor is set in a single step mode. After each instruction is executed, this mode forces a microprocessor to trap the execution. In a block 410, in the single step mode, the microprocessor waits or traps each bus cycle, and then a chance for checking each bus request outputted by the processor is applied to the host. The host processor decides whether or not a code for an interruption service routine is fetched by the microprocessor in a step 420, and when it is not fetched, the cycle is ended in a step 430. When the fetch is decided by the host in a step 440, data for forcing the microprocessor to operate the execution of a desired function or a code for the context switching of the process are generated by the host. |
