PURPOSE:To surely reproduce a signal required for initialization processing at a reception part within short training time by adopting any special training pattern concerning the modulating/demodulating system suitable for using the MODEM of a fast polling type. CONSTITUTION:Concerning the modulating/demodulating system for modulating the training data of a required pattern before data transmission in the case of data transmission, transmitting these training data, demodulating the training data at a demodulating part and performing the initialization processing at the reception part of the modulating/demodulating system by using these demodulated training data, for a pattern 15 of the training data to be transmitted, signals are laternately arranged so that the phases of signal points can be made different at 180 deg., the signals of the same phase are arranged in the middle and signals are laternately arranged later so that the positions of signal points can be made different at 180 deg.. |
