The subject matter of the invention is a separating device, especially for "cross-taped" and "pourable" conductor end sleeves, in each case having plastic collars, in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4, the purpose of this invention being a further embodiment of the application - P 4238232.7. The invention provides for the use of an adjustable, stationary blade, close to the separation point, and the separation movement is at the same time used to cut a conductor end sleeve off from the tape. The reverse also applies, of course, specifically the blade being moving and having the additional function of being a "separator"; however, the blade must then cut off the conductor end sleeve to be separated. The subject matter of the application implements, in a very simple manner, the use of one and the same separating device both for "cross-taped" and for "pourable" conductor end sleeves, the blade not necessarily having to be "disengaged".
