A nozzle for a tub comprises a nozzle body (2) which can be connected to the tub and in which an insert element (4) is arranged to leave an outlet opening (20) for a medium that flows into the tub. The nozzle is to be developed further such that the quantity of medium flowing into the tub can be varied without problems at a low construction volume. It is proposed that the nozzle body (2) and the insert element (4) have mutually opposite surfaces (22, 40) between which there is the outlet opening (20), that the insert element (4) be screwable with an external screw thread (32) into an internal screw thread (30) of the nozzle body (2) and that axial movement of the insert element (4) in the direction of the longitudinal axis (48) of the nozzle body (2) is thereby possible, as a result of which the gap of the outlet opening (20) can be varied. <IMAGE>
