There is provided, according to the invention, a device for extracting an operative specimen a) with an extractor bag (19) which is substantially liquid and gas-tight and has a proximal opening and a distal opening, the distal opening serving to introduce the operative specimen (28) into the extractor bag, b) with a pipe (7, 9) whose length and internal diameter are chosen such that the extractor bag (19) filled with the operative specimen (28) can be at least largely pulled into the pipe (7, 9), c) with a closure lid (1) which is provided with a bore and which seals the proximal end of the pipe (7, 9), d) with a guide pipe (10) whose external diameter is chosen such that it can be sealingly introduced into the bore of the closure lid (1), e) the guide pipe (10) carrying an annular flange (11) on one of its ends, - whose diameter is smaller than the internal diameter of the pipe (7, 9), - but is larger than the proximal opening of the extractor bag (19), and - which seals the proximal opening of the extractor bag (19).
