摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve energy efficiency by a method wherein a part of air, expanded by an expanding means in a cold box and used as a cold heat source for a cooling means, is utilized effectively as the reproduced gas of an adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION:A part of air, passing through a liquefying line L1, enters into a first expansion turbine 30 in low temperature side from the outlet port of a first heat exchanger 27 to generate cold heat through adiabatic expansion in the turbine 30 and, thereafter, enters into a returning line L2 while one portion of the air enters into a second expansion turbine 31 in a high temperature side from the outlet port of the first heat exchanger 27 to produce cold heat here through adiabatic expansion again and, thereafter, enters into the reproduced air line L3 of an adsorption tower, which is passed through the first and second heat exchangers 27, 28 and the low- temperature section of a precooler 24. On the other hand, a part of liquid air, which passed through an overcooler 32, is expanded by an expansion valve 33 and the temperature thereof is reduced to provide the overcooler 32 and the low-temperature section of a third heat exchanger 20 with the cold heat thereof while passing through them and, thereafter, enters into the reproduced air line L3, then, is joined with the air comming from the second expansion turbine 31 and is sent to the adsorption tower 22a.</p>
