Roller Arrangement with a Deflection Compensation Roller

A roll arrangement has a controlled deflection roll (1) and a mating roll (2). The controlled deflection roll has a shell (4) which is supported on a support (7) by means of a hydrostatic supporting device (5). The ends (9) of the shell are each supported on a bearing ring (14) which is guided in radially displaceable fashion in the plane of action and can be loaded in the direction of displacement by a force (F). The ends (9) of the shell can each furthermore be loaded by a torque (M) which has an axis perpendicular to the plane of action. It is thereby possible to match the deflection of the shell better to the deflection of the mating roll.
